The troops and I will await your orders of mass destruction with bated breath...

Oh, and, uh, cats are okay, but no bunnies. They seem cute but all they do is eat and crap and make a huge stinky mess in their hutch that nobody wants to clean out. Trust me, they're cuter running free in the yard.

The longest one-syllable word in the English language is "screeched." I could have sworn we had a thread on this before, but I can't find it with the search option... Anyway, there are several other nine-letter one-syllable words: - scratched - stretched - scrounged - straights - scrunched - streng...

I don't have a problem with the "I feel I should be considered" in a letter of this nature. In a cover letter for a resume, it might seem a little passive. In an application for a scholarship award, it's more of a respectful tone. I understand this also would have been good when looking for a job ye...

Blessed (and evil, I *think*) items have a carry weight bonus (penalty) associated with them. It's really only meaningful on containers/quivers/vehicles/boats.

In no particular order: - The first paragraph says why you are writing, then why they should care, then why you care, then why they should care again. I would probably make the third sentence second and vice versa. - It would probably also be worthwhile to beef up the sentence explaining why you're ...

Ideally you're supposed to sneak to the next room and then hide as soon as you can. Some of our mob specs may defeat this strategy, however, because the special function update is quite a lot faster than the human ability to react. Those with avatar aliases may wish to experiment. *shrug*

I was born in 1975. On January 28, 1986 I was not quite eleven years old and in the fifth grade. My class watched the launch live on a TV in the elementary school library.

Socrates died from an overdose of wedlock. After his death, his career suffered a dramatic decline. Finally Magna Carta provided that no man should be hanged twice for the same offense. Bach died from 1750 to the present. Beethoven expired in 1827 and later died for this. Her death was the final ev...

My level of interest in giving people enough information about the internals of BR to allow them to optimize their characters point-for-point without any experimentation whatsoever remains so low that you can't measure it. You'd have to dig for it. I have historically been extraordinarily open about...

That's the TransAmerica building, or whatever it's called now. VERY cool pics, Slart. I work for Transamerica. No capital A. Yes, it's still the Transamerica pyramid building, although we don't have any offices there, and lease it out to other companies. Thanks! I'll fix the caption when I get home.

Great pictures! Thanks! But I just have to ask... http://slart.homeip.net/~slart/pbpics/LA/dsc00230.jpg Is that a Power Ranger? It sure does look like a Power Ranger. On the other hand, that's the Cat in the Hat standing next to him, so it's probably best not to get too worked up about thes...

This is a logical suggestion that would fix some sketchy spots in certain areas where the room description claims the maze exit is in one direction, but it isn't guaranteed to be so. Certainly this will be part of the new area format.
