I am being asked to believe that DB has feelings. Hmmm.... Nope, can't do it.

There are many people from BR who give me warm and fuzzy feelings. However, they tend to be equipped with different bits. Sorry, DB.

Let me be blunt. That link to download Java sucks. The page has links to the SDK, NetBeans, the J2SE, and more for all different platforms. It's hard to tell which one you need to get. Instead, try this page . The only thing offered for download here is the thing that you need. I recommend downloadi...

It felt just like when you got your entire wit removed, Kiri, except it hurt half as much.

Two Soviet Ships Collide, One Dies I don't get it. The headline writer meant, "Two Soviet-owned ships collided catastrophically resulting in the death of one person ," but the headline could also be interpreted as "Two Soviet-owned ships collided catastrophically resulting in the death of one ship ...

of course, that leaves the question if the ones in charge would want to be bothered with the implementation of customtailoredavataradding. *nod me* ;) It's hardly a difficult thing. It's already built into the pbpBB2 software. All that would have to be done is the changing of permissions on a singl...

PuTTY would be a good option, actually. You could even put it on a floppy and run it directly off of the floppy. It does not need to be "installed". It also should run on any computer that can run Windows 95 or later.

EWAN is designed for Windows 3.x. It may work under Windows 9x and the NT varients, but it was not designed to. I got to talk with the designer back in 1995 and it was a deeply flawed and dying project even at that time. There is no excuse for anyone to still be using EWAN. It is a horribly broken ...

If I were you I'd still research it. Trust me, not much point to researching this one. Besides, there really aren't any identifying marks or any other way to identify it. I can't swear that it's not worth anything, but I'd bet a paycheck on it. That's not to say that it's not valuable to me. It's s...

I got an old mini beer stein from my grandma. (Of course, the $50 tucked inside of it was nice. ;-) ) Knowing your grandma, the stein probably was real and possibly worth something. Depends on what you mean by "real", I suppose. I suspect it's from Germany but it also seems to be of very recent vin...

A clichéd answer, but I've found no better one

We take pleasure in answering thus prominently the communication below, expressing at the same time our great gratification that its faithful author is numbered among the friends of The Sun: Dear Editor I am 8 years old. Some of my little friends say there is no Santa Claus. Papa says, "If you see i...
