Scuba Equipment

Ive always been curious but never tested this so ill ask here. Scuba gear, when you fill it up, does it consume oxygen when your not wearing it?

Nope, otherwise when you buy those scuba tanks from lexie at level 15 to get to xcaliburs and never use them again until level 45 to get to ciquala, they'd be more than empty by the time you got back to them.
