Ongoing Quests:
Disaster: Tgames 3
well all, at long last it's time to really get started with the
tgames. i've tried my best to arrange your teams as equally as i can
manage. you are being placed into two tribes, the "Kalonek tribe"
and the "Krenv tribe". for your information, kalonek means "brave"
and krenv means "strong" in breton. please place the appropriate
tribe name in your title. The new level cap is at 25, please don't go
past level 25. i'm doing this because i want you all to have fun
grouping, making your characters stronger, etc-it'll be more fun
taking the time to enhance than just sitting at 50 forever, if you
ask me. be warned that there IS atleast one "mole" per team. this
person will be trying to sabotage your efforts, get you killed, etc.
just one more way to make this a fun experience for you all, i think.
please, PLEASE be familiar with all rules as posted on the forums.
ignorance is NOT an excuse. the following note will list all of the
people on the kalonek and krenv teams (still waiting a few more
minutes though, in case there are any last minute entrants). -dis
Kalonek Tribe:

Krenv Tribe:
indulgence, durran, naugrim, merc, miccis, gamer, soujuri,
necromancy, xanthea, surviver, aniel, mourdrydd, thentia
if you are not on this list, that means you are not participating.
if i have somehow missed including you, contact me VERY quickly about
it, or you'll have lost your chance -dis
your first task is to write a description for yourself. you may
gain extra points by having a theme for you tribe, by dressing in
costume, by having an appropriate title, and writing a team story.
you'll be judged next sunday at 6pm system time
oh, and if you feel like it, i'd love to also receive notes you send
to your group, and any feedback/ideas you guys have. this is, after
all, YOUR quest more than it is mine, so i will do my best to
incorporate what you want provided you communicate that to me -dis
i would have thought this would be common sense, but if you tgamers
go afk, PUT UP A FLAG! i've told you i'm going to mess with you, and
i'm not about ot send you tells first. if you're not afk/busy, i
consider you fair game *evil grin* oh, and if i see you wandering
around killing stuff with a flag up, trying to avoid me messing with
you, then i'll REALLY mess with you *grin* have fun! -dis
ok, i'm softening one rule for you guys (but only one, so far).
i'd originally said that tgamers couldn't use non-tgames quest items.
i realized that "wait a sec, what about quests run for tgamers that
i'm not directly involved in?" and this is what i decided. tgamers
still can't use quest rewards that they personally diddn't earn (so
no using your alts' prizes). if an eq prize is given for an
"unofficial" tgames quest (one run for tgamers without my
involvement) and the eq is better than what could be had at that
level normally, please talk to me before you use it (or at least send
me a note). i've been on daily so far, so i don't think that a delay
of at MOST 24 hours will be too big an inconvenience for you, and
please know that i'm only asking you to do this to keep the
experience as fun and interesting as i can for you. prizes that are
the equivalent of what is already available (such as renames) you
don't have to send me a note about.
oh, and the titles you guys have (leader, 2nd in command, etc) are a
really fun and worthwhile effort for any roleplaying you guys choose
to do, but i don't consider them official in any way. every person on
the team is exactly equal. -dis

Well, I'm *still* fixing these typos from July, and believe me, there are pages and pages of them.
Disaster won by a landslide, and also redid our helps for you guys to reflect the proper grammar and spelling
because I might be finished in 2005 if I tried to do all of it myself.

DevilsAngel: Quest ended...Two actually
Well yesterday was the last day for Banner entries to the banner quest.
Thank you for all that sent one in. I have 4 entries. They are all well done!!
I will announce the winner in a few days, I probably will need to confer with EB and Kiri, so please be patient.
Since the mudd crashed the searching quest has ended as well.
I know that some wee morties found them and got a good chunk of money and a rename in some!!!
To those who didn't find any, better luck next time. I will be doing these from time to time.

Lairian: Heritage
Two people participated in the Human Heritage quest, though neither finished.
Both should talk to Leiland to recieve proper compensation for their time.
The full path and dialogs will be up on the forums shortly, for those interested in
seeing how things went. Leiland and I plan to scale down difficulty a bit in future quests
due to a great underestimation of difficulty on our parts.
Regardless, the quests will continue. Next Saturday, Kender! Please, all Kender who
wish to sate their curiosity about their race's past, join me in Quest Headquarters at 5 pm
system time...this time we mean 5 pm (we hope...). *toe*
