music and math are very closely related. i'm rather an odd duck, in that i love math but have no interest in making music. i don't really know if i have the talent or not, but i do know that i completely lack the interest in it to find out ;)

With what I know of you, I actually think L-M fits you best.
Oh, it certainly fits me, and probably best, but I was somewhat surprised that the other two types that I mentioned (Linguistic and Intrapersonal) didn't show up.... I guess what I really wanted was some sort of graph to pop up at the end and plot how my responses fell into each of the 9 fields they were testing.

This is the behavior of a true Musical Thinker? I am not like this.

Thank you for "proving" the test inaccurate.

:P

Stars wrote:So, in a way, science and math has begun to absorb music and art. Then again, I have come to realize that the two are not necessarily mutually exclusive to begin with. There is a sort of mathematical rhythm in the symmetry of art, after all.
But isn't music only applied mathematics anyway? Wavelengths and pitches and regularly recurring patterns. This would lend some credence to the moniker that has now been forever applied to you - as it were allegorically sticky-taped to your frontal lobes - of "The Musical Mathematican".

"Dab dab-a doo-dah - that equals three.

Yeaaaahhh......"

Interpersonal and Musical. *peer* And I went to school for programming. Funny, none of these careers listed sound remotely like something I'd want to do.

Careers which suit Interpersonal thinkers include
Politician, Psychologist, Nurse, Counsellor, Teacher

Careers which suit Musical Thinkers include
Musician, Music teacher, Sound engineer, Recording technician
