Brodgar: The Ruins of Dun Candrae (Level 1-10)
Tue Aug 17 18:52:06 2004
To: all

Somehow I managed to miss posting that the area Joysinger and I wrote went in during this last boot. *Blinks*

The area is just south of Malacandra and is for levels 1 through 10. It's a relatively small area,
but introduces a brand new type of puzzle and also if you read carefully, the secret to a piece of low level
flaming equipment.

IDEAS -- THis is our ONE idea. Have you all lost your ability to idea? Send them now now now!

NO!! Disarming is one of the best ways to get rid of a cursed weapon! (For
those of us who are too cheap -- or too nervous -- to visit the Hangman.)

Oh, sure. And when you astral or teleport or portal or whatever, you leave
all of your gold and equipment behind, too. Umm, no, thank you.

I got a score of 666.

I gave up after that.

Oh my goodness! I read the first letter and nearly cried! Kiri, you are so very mean.

I managed to hit 1182... which wasn't all that terribly hard once I realized that the special bubbles gave you 1) big points and 2) no size increase. Avoid everything except special bubbles and you keep your size down, letting you squeeze through the ranks of mine things much easier.

I enjoy "tragically beautiful" stories, but only when they are not real. My heart just aches when I see someone in fear and pain. I know that letter was written long ago and the writer is probably no longer alive. That does not diminish the urgency in her letter. I'm depressed now. ;)
