I'm actually a big fan of Pandora.com, I put in a band from the genre I feel like listening to at the moment and then let it just do it's thing. It's a nice way to find some new bands too

I tend to fire up my Itunes player and listen to the 2 days of continuous music that I have stored there, but my favorite genre is rock (both classic and alternative). stuff like Disturbed, Joe Walsh, Chicago, Metallica, etc.....
