Answering machines.....

This room is filled with chairs, benches, and sofas for people to just sit around and talk about life, past adventures, or just otherwise kill time.

How many of you leave messages when you get the answering machine?

Answering machines.....

Post by Wiseman »

Have you ever had that very important thing you had to tell someone, but when you call them you get the answering machine. That thing is evil. At least I think it is.... only because I can't figure out what to say because I was expecting them to pick up. And not to mention.... when people call they hang up after the beep. That sucks too.... **growls** Such an evil invention!!!!! BOOOO!!!!!!
Isn't the monkey such a cool animal???

*pets Wiseman*

Try again later hun, try again later *hugs*

And yes, answering machines are somewhat evil, I avoid leaving messages at all costs, however, my evil job requires me to leave about 10 messages on machines a day, so you have to learn to cope ;)

Funny how I think they're evil but I have one....hmmmm

Actually the best is voicemail. I have enjoyed it at work so much that I also got it at home. I love being on the phone and knowing that someone trying to call me is going to get the voicemail instead of a busy signal. I guess it is even more evil to those that think answering machines are evil.

Yeah well that's what happens when you try to get a loan from a woman whose boyfriend is very possesive over her mammories and happens to read these forums every day ;)

For anyone out there reading this topic later-ish, I believe Kiri was pointing at this strip in particular. (The Mouse Puck one I wound up looking at didn't seem to have anything to do with the conversation...)
