Themes for Areas

Post by kiri »

Help out the area writers here! What themes of areas would you like to see on the mud?

Some guidelines:

-nothing sci-fi
-nothing modern
-nothing with towers or castles (my god, we have enough)
-nothing already done in another area on the mud

I still would have to approve any ideas, anyway.

What do you think?

I am not sure if this falls to any of those categories (I think Vanilla is also working on a project based on this) but some Disney classics would be good.

I.E Snow White (on a forest), Aladdin (Arabic), Cinderella (oops, castle *g*), etc...

(I think we already have Lion King so I thought it might be a nice idea to haul in his other comrades.)
It's amazing that the amount of news that happens in the world everday always just exactly fits in the newspaper.

The dorfie in me says more mines... mines are cool :P
The frustrated person-without-a-life-sniff says more scantily clad nubile ladies..
The demon in me says can I have them mashed please..

and yes, barren could do with a few more castles, towers, a bath house or two, some bards/minstrels, some mime artists, more scorpion pits, preferably with the mime artists, dragons, did i mention castles or mines.. gletsjers, gletsjers are nice, especially with scantilly clad nubile ladies... more dwarven halls and mines... a thieves guild kinda thing... gold mines... a squid bar.. and maybe a sense of self-relativation and a humorous use of bananas and shrimps

I would love to see more fairies. I like those and there aren't enough IMO, I would love to see an overhaul of the fairy ring it is just to small. Anyway, more flowers, fairies, things of that nature I think would be nice. (but not cactus and black roses and poison ivy flowers, they are to mean)

have a mountain and once you are near the top it beomces blizzard like (always snowing so scan is gone) and if possible have it like instant chill touch or something (working kinda like cursed). Once you reach the sumit maybe like a yeti or something. and once you kill it you get a yeti's paw (a holdable item). If there is already an area like this forgive me... I dun explore much.
