ooo, the council's frenzy really hurt. It rolled my ac from -2k to positive.

That still doesn't answer my question...
Is +2 AC the same as +1 AC?
OR...is +30000000000000000000000023 AC the same as +1 AC?

As I recall, AC actually starts at 100 (i.e. if you take off all your eq, and let all your spells wear off, you'll be at +100 AC). Anything over that gets you to the "worse than naked" stage (I think... that might actually start around +150). I would guess that anything over that point would be as useless as being at that point, but I can't honestly claim that I know for a fact.

my ac droppped from -5000 to -2500
tho 228 dam was nice for 5 hours
